it’s Jordan. I’m actually supposed to be on a flight to Calgary right now but old man winter decided to take a snow #2 all over highway 17/1… so driving to the airport was clearly out of the question. Why were you going to Calgary you ask? Oh just to mix some new me monster music with my good buddies Mitch Rutherford and Endre Lukascy at Night Desposit Studios. I’ll be there tomorrow morning just in time for the session. Thank you WESTJET.
BUT enough about me, tonight and today are very special for us. We posted our first music video ever, for our song HD Sunglasses. But what’s also special is that RPG, our management, is offering to donate 25 cents, per viewing of the video today (SATURDAY JANUARY 23rd) to the relief effort in Haiti. woo hoo! so watch the video… it was a ton of fun to make and we met some of the coolest people in the world in the process. Thank you very much to our director Jesse Stokes and our management for making it possible. NOW HERE IT IS:

Hello world. It is I, the Jordan, and I have come to spread the good news.
We have begun the creation of what will be our next record and even in these preliminary steps I’m seeing something take shape that I know we are going to be proud of.
Yet in the meantime we’re not leaving you stranded, if you haven’t heard our new song Best Of Friends hit up the ol’ myspace.com/thememonster, and very soon our video for HD Sunglasses will be posted. Also in February we’ll be dropping a second new song, Make A Sound.
In other news:
I went to see Avatar 3D… it was pretty intense! I know Eric went and is now part of some Avatar religion. I just came back from a short vaycay (short for vacation) in the Cuba, it wasn’t very warm but I learned a little Spanish and played geetz on the beach. I also somehow got a tiny bit of a tan – take that winter.
This week I plan on working on the 6 songs I have and hoping to add a few more. We’ve started rehearsing the new stuff and old stuff for our Western Tour in February. Exciting times!

I just finished watching “40 gun flagship” play at The Marquee room in Calgary. I hope we can confirm a date with them at the gateway on our 2010 tour because they rock. Orange amps/cabs guitar/bass/drums/chick vocals … this band is raw and slays the stage. Manager: Mitch
I got another car. which died shortly after, but thats a far more controversial story involving puke on my dashboard… no joke. There were kickass presents and a tonne (quite literally) of socks which post tour, I’m definitely most thankfull for.
then there was new years, how many of you all went out and partay’d it up? i did, apparently… and jumped house parties with a keg in tow, the funniest thing is I don’t even like beer.
